I did a pretty thorough review of the area. There is another dive hotel in Placerville, but seems worse than this. The Fitzpatrick winery sounds good, but too far up the road for day 2 in my opinion. Somerset doesn't have anything reasonably priced, however, there is the Davies BB which would be pretty handy given it is right on the road. Anyway, I will see what happens. Comments?
