Day one update.

Day one update: 77 miles from San Fransico to sacremento. Much harder 1st day then I had thought mostly due to the tempeture that got up to 120 degrees and the bacon sandwhich at mile 30 didnt help... tomorrow we start our climb as we leave sea level. Not looking forward to the climb but am glad to be getting out of the heat. I'll try to post an update every day.
